Vauxhall Baby Safe (0 - 13kg/Birth to 15 months) - Without Transponder.Suitable for children 0-13kg or Birth to 15 months. Always to be fixed in the rearwards position.Seat can be fixed to the car either with the seatbelts or to the ISOFIX brackets by using the ISOFIX base (Available Separately) Cradle can be fixed on front passenger seat if air bag is deactivated. Integrated 3-point safety belt for securing the baby in the safety cradle. Seat covers washable and exchangable. Certified according to European safety standard EE-R-44/04. Optional ISOFIX base is absolutley necessary when using the baby cradle as ISOFIX solution: base connects the factory installed ISOFIX preparation with the baby cradle. Cradle to be clicked into the ISOFIX base.What is the Law?All children under three years old must use an appropriate child restraint when travelling in any car or goods vehicle (Except in the back of a taxi if a child seat is not available.Children aged three, or over, and up to 135cm (Approx 4ft. 5in.) in heigh must use an appropriate child restraint when travelling in cars or goods vehicles fitted with seat belts.Rear facing baby seats must not be used in seats with an active frontal airbag.A permitted exception is for children over three years on an occasional journey (e.g. an unforeseen emergency) over a short distance. The child must still use an adult belt and sit in the rear. This excemption is not for journeys such as the regular school run.
